It is Thunberg’s second ever UK Protest, her first being in London last April. Bristol Youth Strike 4 Climate have been overwhelmed with positive responses about the upcoming strike. In a Guardian article, Milly Sibson, one of the founders of the Bristol Youth Strike 4 Climate, said “we really hope loads of people join us to welcome her to Bristol”.

Thunberg, a two time Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, gained wide spread recognition following her school strike movement in Sweden. She has since become a widely known environmental activist.
